Sportsology is pleased to announce that Irina Pavlova has joined the business as a strategic advisor.
The former president of Onexim Sports and Entertainment, Pavlova spent seven years as a senior executive with the Brooklyn Nets and Barclays Center from 2010-2017. During that time she was a leading voice on issues related to management and team ownership, playing a key role in the business operations of the team and the arena, including the rebranding of the franchise, as well as the construction of Barclays Center and the Nets’ new practice facility.
In her role as a strategic advisor, Pavlova will support Sportsology’s clients with expertise related to franchise acquisition, commercial strategy, brand building, culture, and the planning and operations of new facilities.
“I’m pleased to be joining Sportsology as a strategic advisor,” said Pavlova. “Sportsology has developed a unique niche as a trusted advisor to many of the world’s leading sports franchises. I’m excited to join the team and bring my knowledge and expertise to the business as we help organizations navigate the challenges and opportunities they are faced with.”
“We’re excited to bring Irina onboard as we continue to expand Sportsology’s strategic advisory team,” said Mike Forde, executive chairman of Sportsology. “Irina’s track record as a decision maker in elite sports is outstanding and her practical experience across multiple leadership themes and organizational functions will be invaluable to our client base.”
